Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a
place called Rainbow Bridge.
Norman (Click to enlarge) Norman was a nice old boy that was found wandering in Baldivis. We don't know what his age was but think it was about 12. When he was brought to us his body had been shaved and he was full of fleas. He had a bad eye infection and prostate problems. He also had severe arthritis. We did what we could for him and he seemed to be coming along quite well. We were hoping to get a special home for him but that didn't happen. Unfortunately he took a turn for the worse and despite medications, it got so that he could hardly walk. We had to make that terrible decision and as a rescue organization, that was very difficult.
Place Your Tribute Here West Coast Rottweiler Rescue offers this memorial page on its' website which is dedicated to the animals we have personally lost and those lives they touched while they were with us. We are currently accepting pictures and tributes to those pets closest to your hearts that have departed this world. If you are interested in contributing a memorial for this feature, please email us. Memorials and tributes will be offered in exchange for your donation that will assist WCRR in it's mission to find safe loving forever homes for the homeless Rottweilers of the Perth, Western Australia and surrounding areas. Donations can be sent to PO Box 4304, Canning Vale East, WA 6155 or via direct deposit. See our donations page.
